Our criminal justice programs bring you peer interactions and an expanded network of professionals dedicated to safeguarding their communities and nation. ATA College works to provide career training programs for entry-level positions in specialized fields like criminal justice.
The 9-month Criminal Justice & Public Safety program at ATA College is designed to prepare graduates for entry into the state, local, or federal law enforcement, corrections, or private security. Students will study the U.S. Constitution, American court systems, Federal and California state laws, and past and current criminal trends.
Students will be prepared to properly articulate, format, and complete various reports and professional communication. Before graduation, students will be introduced to the application process for different local, state, and federal agencies.

An Associate of Science in Criminal Justice demonstrates the job seeker’s expertise in the legal field, followed by higher salary packages, more room for advancement, refined skills, and job market advantage.
After completing the 9-month Criminal Justice and Public Safety diploma program at ATA College, students can continue with courses in the Associate of Science program.
The Associate of Science in Criminal Justice is available in multiple emphasis pathways and can be completed in an additional 6 months after general education courses.
Upon graduation, you can work in homeland security, corrections, corporate security, crime scene investigations, and more.
ATA College has an Educational Alliance with Grand Canyon University for students successfully completing this associate degree program. ATA College Graduates are able eligible to transfer their credits and receive a 10% off Scholarship towards GCU tuition.
